Kindred Dinners - Frequently Asked Questions

Do dinner tickets include alcohol, or can I BYOB?
No alcohol included. Feel free to BYOB! Limit: 1 bottle of wine per person, and we will check IDs at the entrance. Your ticket includes a non-alcoholic seasonal welcome drink as well.

Can I reserve specific seats at the table?
Kindred Dinners is a beautiful communal experience, so your party will be sitting next to other guests at a big communal table. There are no reserved seats, but there is room for everyone at the table!

Can I see the menu beforehand?
Since Chef Steven creates the menu for our farm-to-table dinners using as many local ingredients as possible, we do not release dinner menus beforehand. Rest assured the menu will be creative, unique, and delicious, using as many local, pasture-raised, and farm-fresh ingredients possible.

For other special dinners, the menu might be released beforehand depending on the event.

What if I have special dietary restrictions?
Since this is a pre-set tasting menu, we cannot create special meals for people with dietary restrictions, but we can do our best to accommodate you if, for example, you’re a vegetarian. However, our kitchen is not set up to be able to create custom menu items for restrictions such as celiac or severe food allergies where cross-contamination is an issue.

Will vegetarians have enough to eat?
There will be tons of veggies! We will be cooking lots of seasonal veggies over the open fire, and there will be a salad course with produce directly from the field next to you and neighboring farms. Please note that there will be meat served at our dinners, but usually we can just give you extra of a certain course that doesn’t contain meat if you’d like.

What if it rains?

We have a space that is completely covered in our brand new barn. The event is on, rain or shine, and it'll be a magical night. There will be no refunds due to weather conditions.

Are children welcome?

This farm dinner is an adults-only event. Our farm store is a great place to bring kids when we're open, and we also sometimes host family-friendly dinners.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We will have a mowed pasture where you will be able to park on grass. It will be a short walk from the parking lot to the area where the event will be.

What are the restroom options?
There are restrooms available on-site.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?
Absolutely NO smoking or vaping is allowed at Kindred Dinners or anywhere near other guests, the dinner site, or produce fields. If you must smoke or vape, please excuse yourself from the dinner and do so in the parking lot area or in your car.

What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the nature of the event, no refunds or credits will be given if the ticket holder is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else or used as credit for a future Kindred Farm event of the same value.

How do I join the wait list if a dinner is sold out?
